The short version. Teen Patti is a game for adults aged 18 and over, played with play chips that have no money value. It takes no deposits, entry fees or stakes and gives no prizes. Nothing about your games is stored on a server. Do not use it to play for money. If playing card games of chance is restricted where you live, do not play.
Who runs it
MSRX is a brand name used by Mrinal Singh Raja, an individual in Bengaluru, India. It is not a registered company, partnership or LLP. In this page "we" and "MSRX" mean Mrinal Singh Raja, and "you" means a person using the game. This page applies to the Teen Patti game only. The MSRX Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to the rest of the site, and where they differ from this page, this page wins for this game.
Age: adults only (18+)
Teen Patti is a card game traditionally played for money, so we treat it as an adults-only game. You must be 18 or older to host, join or practise in it.
Before you play, the game asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older. That is a self-declaration. We do not collect identity documents, so we cannot check it, and a parent or guardian who lets a child use a device is responsible for what that child plays.
If you are under 18, please do not play. The hand guide, rules and win calculator are learning pages with no betting, but they are meant for adults too.
Play chips are not money
Every player starts each table with free play chips. They exist only inside the game on your device and your friends' devices.
Chips have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, won as a prize, withdrawn, transferred outside the game, or exchanged for money, goods, services or anything else of value. The game does not accept payments of any kind.
There are no entry fees, no stakes, no wagers, no jackpots, no rewards, no leaderboards that pay out, no ads and no in-app purchases.
Do not play for real money or anything of value, and do not use the chip counts to settle bets, whether in cash, UPI, bank transfer, goods or favours. Doing so is outside what this game offers, may be illegal where you are, is entirely at your own risk and is a breach of these terms. We do not host, run, take a cut of, or facilitate any wagering between players.
The law, and your part in it
Gambling and gaming law in India is not the same in every state, and it changes. In summary:
The Public Gambling Act, 1867 and several state laws regulate gambling and "games of chance", in some states including online play. Teen Patti is generally treated as a game of chance when it is played for stakes.
The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games, meaning games played with a stake in money or something convertible to money. This game has no stake and no convertible value, and is built as an online social game for entertainment. It was built with that line in mind: no deposits, no prizes, no cash-out, and no way to turn chips into value. Law in this area is new and still being interpreted, so we cannot promise how a regulator or court would see it.
Whether any particular use of a game is lawful depends on where you are and how you use it. You are responsible for making sure that playing is lawful where you live and where the other players are. If card games of chance, online games or social games are restricted where you are, do not play.
This page describes how the game works. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. We do not promise that the game complies with every law that could apply to you.
Terms of play
1. Eligibility and acceptance
By using the game to host, join or practise, you confirm that you are 18 or older, that you have read this page, that you will play for entertainment with play chips only, and that playing is lawful where you are. If you cannot confirm all of that, do not play.
2. How you may use it
Use the game only for lawful, friendly play. Do not use it to gamble, to run a betting or gaming business, to collect or move money, to harass or threaten anyone, to choose offensive names, to cheat or to attack, overload or probe the game or the site, or to copy the game's code and artwork for resale.
3. The host is the dealer
The person who hosts a table runs the game on their own device. Their device deals the cards, keeps the pot and decides when a round starts. The host is also the table's admin: they can remove players from the table at any time, and a removed player needs a new invite code to return. We do not run the table and cannot see it, referee it or reverse it. Host and play only with people you trust. Disputes between players are between those players, and not ours to resolve.
4. Other players
The people you play with are not connected to or controlled by MSRX. We are not responsible for what they say, their nicknames, their conduct or anything that happens between you outside the game.
5. Provided as it is
The game is free and provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, including that it will be accurate, fair, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that it will connect on every network, or that it will suit any purpose. Hands are dealt by a random shuffle on the host's device, which we do not control. Bots are simple programs and are not an advisor. The win calculator estimates odds and is for fun and learning. It is not betting, financial or any other advice, and it does not predict what other players will do.
6. No liability
MSRX and Mrinal Singh Raja accept zero liability for this game. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable to you or to anyone else, in any way, for anything arising from the game or its use. That includes any loss, damage, cost, claim, penalty, legal action or consequence of any kind, whether direct or indirect, and whether in contract, negligence or otherwise. It covers money or anything of value that you or any other player choose to stake or lose outside the game, anything another player says or does, the host's conduct, connection failures, lost or unfair hands, and any action by a court, police, regulator or other authority in any place where the game is played. You use the game entirely at your own risk and on your own responsibility.
The only exceptions are those the law does not allow us to exclude, such as for fraud. No other liability is accepted.
7. Your responsibility
To the extent the law allows, you agree to be responsible for, and to cover us against, any claim, loss or penalty that arises from your breach of this page, from your use of the game for gambling or wagering, or from playing where it is not lawful for you to do so.
8. Ending and changing
We may change, suspend or remove the game or this page at any time. The date above shows when this page last changed. Using the game after a change means you accept the changed page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have under law that cannot be taken away by agreement. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
10. Not affiliated
The game, its table, sounds and bots were made for this site. The playing-card faces and back are from the open-source SVG-cards project by David Bellot, maintained by Huub de Beer (github.com/htdebeer/SVG-cards), used under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1, and the connection library is PeerJS (MIT licence, licence text); the licence and credit are in LICENSE.txt and CREDITS.txt. The game is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any casino, gambling operator, card brand or game publisher. Names such as "Teen Patti", "Trail" and "Pure Sequence" are used only to describe a traditional card game.
Privacy notice
The short answer: there is no account, and MSRX does not receive or store anything about your games. The details:
What stays on your own device
A nickname, a picture (emoji), your sound on/off choice and a note that you confirmed you are 18 or older, kept in your browser's local storage, so you do not have to enter them again. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. They are never sent to MSRX.
A copy of the game's own files, kept by your browser so the game opens without internet after your first visit. These contain no personal data.
What the people at your table see
When you join a table, the host and other players see your nickname and picture, your chips, and the moves you make. The host's device also holds the cards, because it deals them. Other players cannot see your cards unless the rules reveal them (a show, or a side show between two players).
Because players connect directly, their devices can see each other's network (IP) address, as with any direct connection such as a video call. If that matters to you, only play with people you know.
Nothing a table does is kept after the table closes. We cannot see, recover or delete a table, because we never had it.
Services involved in connecting
Google's public STUN service (stun.l.google.com) is asked once, while connecting, to tell your device its public address. It sees that address and nothing about the game, and Google handles it under its own privacy policy. It may be outside India.
Our hosting provider (Vercel) serves the game's files. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs of requests for those files, such as time, address and browser type. The game page itself loads no analytics, no advertising, no tracking scripts, no cookies and no third-party fonts or code. The connection library is served from this site.
PeerJS's free public connection service (0.peerjs.com) introduces the devices. When you invite or join, your device registers with it under the table's code, so it sees the table code, your network address and the connection details needed to link two devices, for as long as it takes to connect. It is never given a card, a chip, a move or a name. Once players are connected it plays no part, and it is run by a third party under its own terms, which may be outside India. If it is down, friends cannot find each other, and practice mode still works.
Your invite code is a short one-use code (for example K7M29Q-4XAF). Anyone who has it before your friend uses it could take that seat, so send each one only to the person it is for. The host sees who joined and can see everyone at the table.
Your rights and children
Because MSRX holds no personal data about you from this game, there is nothing for us to access, correct or erase, beyond what is in your own browser. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have rights over personal data that an organisation holds about you. Ask us and we will tell you honestly what exists, which here is nothing. The game is for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect no data from them.
Responsible play
Play for fun, and stop when it stops being fun. Take breaks.
Never play for money, and never bet or owe anything based on a result in this game.
Do not let children play. Keep devices where children cannot start a table.
If gambling has become a problem for you or someone you know, please talk to someone you trust or a qualified counsellor or doctor.
Be kind. You are playing with real people. Choose names you would be happy for a grandparent to read.
Contact and grievances
